Designed by a child development expert, the Miracle Recreation® Sensory Maze combines the challenge of a traditional maze with imaginative play that enriches and thrills the senses. Children and adults of all ages and abilities, including those with sensory disabilities, can explore the distinctive textures, shapes and translucent colors of these reconfigurable panels by look and by feel, as a group or individually in their own, unique way. Those easily overstimulated by noise or activity can also find comfort in cozy, quiet spaces located throughout the maze. This sensory panel system can be configured to any size, shape, or design, such as a barrier, path, play area, and more.
Part swing, part track ride, the GlideAlong provides a swift, smooth glide back and forth suspended along an overhead rail. Each bay seats one rider on either a standard disc-style or an Inclusive Swing Seat. The accessible seat features an over-the-shoulder restraint, with a high-angled back and contoured sides for added support. The standard swing seat bays feature a platform on either end where kids start themselves down the rail by stepping on or pushing off of the platform.
Now children of all abilities can enjoy the thrills of spinning together. This inclusive spinner is built level with the ground, making it easy to board with space for up to two wheelchairs at once. An additional single seat provides extra physical support for kids or caregivers, while kids of different heights can hold on securely to sloping handrails.
Inspired by the sport of bouldering, the Miracle Recreation® Crossway Climber provides the thrills of rock climbing in the controlled safety of a playground setting. Its flexible design delivers multiple play opportunities, engaging children on the physical, social and imaginative levels with elevated climbs that give kids a greater sense of both risk and accomplishment. It’s also a social play experience that establishes a gathering spot where children of different ages and abilities can enjoy playing together. These climbers can functionally link to decks of varying heights, ground-level play components, traditional play structures, existing Miracle Recreation components (including Kids’ Choice®, Tots’ Choice®, Phyzics®), or other Crossway Climbers to create obstacle-course-inspired ground play with a variety of play paths and challenge levels.
This revolutionary leap forward in dome climbers opens up new play experiences to more people than ever before. A hybrid dome/orbs structure provides a more challenging climb than ordinary dome climbers. For the first time, its open design also enables children with mobility devices, parents and caregivers to go inside the dome to enjoy closer interaction as they play together. Available as both a freestanding structure or a modular deck component, the Miracle Recreation Dome Climber with Orbs has everything you need to make dome climbers more exciting than ever.
The Extreme Generation (XGEN) adventure playground gives today’s kids the extreme physical challenges they demand. With its rope-course-inspired events, skyscraping towers and fully enclosed skyways, Extreme Generation safely provides the perceived risk that keeps kids coming back for more high-flying thrills.
With its innovative glide mechanism, the Gravity Rail brings round-trip track-ride thrills to the playground for the very first time. Kids will love pushing their limits as they cruise through the air in both directions, with sloped dips and curves along the length of the ride — no harness or operator required. Its flexible configuration works with a variety of playground layouts, with design elements that can be customized to fit your playground design or color palette.
Your community will be drawn to these fun climbers that bring animals and nature elements to any playground. From water frogs to butterfly meadows, you will find solutions that work with your playground design. These are designed for children ages 2 through 12, but are sure to charm visitors of all ages.
With these interactive panels, all children can enjoy the nurturing and valuable elements of tactile play at the “just right” height for everyone. Children with inefficient touch perception, limited play skills or motor challenges may not be able to engage fully in many typical play activities that help children to develop the tactile sense. Without a strong sense of touch, motor actions (such as buttoning or holding a pencil) are extremely difficult. Interactive play panels offer all children the chance to explore and engage in tactile play, which in turn helps them develop skills for life.
