Activity and rest combine at FlexConnect Seat! This FUNiture features a sewing panel and a pin impression panel on the back—both of which help to develop fine motor skills—along with a window for social play opportunities. Kids can engage with these activities whether they’re behind the seat, or in the center. The seat side features a simple flextread belt, allowing kids to either rest comfortably or turn and engage with those surrounding them.
FlexConnect Seat was inspired by our partner, the Rube Goldberg® Institute for Innovation & Creativity—a family-run, nonprofit organization that uses the legacy of its namesake to promote equity and access in STEM and STEAM education. Together, we’re able to create more opportunities for both learning and whimsy on the playground

Hearing is the ability to perceive sound by detecting vibrations and changes in the pressure in the ear
Proprioception is very important as it lets us know exactly where our body parts are, how we are positioned in space and how to plan our movements
The tactile system is our ability to interpret the world through our touch
